Angela Ursillo has drawn and painted all her life.  Her father, who is an accomplished artist, taught her in her formative years.  Together, they established The BearCub Studio to showcase their artwork www.bearcubstudio.com.

 Angela holds a Bachelor's degree in Illustration with Honors from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.  Soon after graduation, she went on to work in the Art Department at Industrial Light + Magic (a division of Lucasfilm).  Her design work can be seen in such films as Star Wars Episode 2, Minority Report, and Terminator 3.

 She then joined the visual effects team at Weta Digital in New Zealand to work on The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, I, Robot, and King Kong.

 Angela now illustrates children's books full time.  Her work is influenced by classic film design as well as her favorite children's book authors Roald Dahl and Dr. Seuss.
